A Bespoke Suit Shaped for Fit and Travel

A suit feels personal when its shape responds to the person wearing it. For Stuart, that meant looking beyond standard sizing and considering how the chest, shoulders and waist worked together.

His charcoal suit was refined around a fuller chest and a slight difference between his shoulders. The result brings balance to the silhouette while leaving room for his own proportions and the way he moves through the day.

Fit Is a Conversation Between Details

We refined the chest, adjusted the shoulder line and shaped the waist as connected parts of the same fit. Focusing on one measurement alone would miss how the jacket reads as a whole. In the finished look, the front sits cleanly over Stuart’s chest and the waist gives the jacket definition without making it look forced.

That is the value of custom-made tailoring: the fabric, silhouette and details can be considered around an individual rather than treated as fixed choices.

Cloth and Construction Chosen for His Routine

Stuart also needed a suit suited to travel. For this commission, we selected REDA merino wool with a half-canvas construction. The grey cloth gives the suit a restrained, versatile appearance, while the burgundy lining adds a quieter note of colour inside the jacket.

The details come together in the full suit, from the jacket on Stuart to the matching trousers and cloth swatches. Each choice serves the same brief: a tailored piece that fits his proportions and belongs in his working life.
