For his first bespoke suit, our client wanted the formality of a three-piece without the familiar look of an everyday business suit. The brief called for a classic grey outfit with a little more presence on special occasions.
Choosing the Cloth Around the Occasion
We selected Zegna 15milmil15 for its superfine 15.2-micron wool. Its natural lustre and fluid drape give the grey cloth a refined appearance, while the finished suit holds a sharp, clean silhouette. The client also appreciated how light it felt when he tried it on.
The carousel shows the jacket, waistcoat and trousers together, followed by the cloth selection. Seeing the full three-piece alongside the fabric makes the decision clear: the material was chosen for the image he wanted to convey, as well as how he wanted the suit to feel.
